The UVPS Economy Dual Edge Deep Trough Scoop Coater was designed with the essential needs of the screen printer in mind. The ease of being lightweight and the special extruded grippers adds to the comfort of this economy holder. Dual edges provide either a sharp thin edge or a rounded dull edge permitting uniform emulsion coating for the selected screen printing fabric.

The injection molded end caps easily come off when it is time to clean the coater. To achieve a permanent end caps, epoxy glue may be used to secure the end caps. Each Economy Scoop Coater comes with a dust / light protector. Emulsion can be stored in the coater in between coating times and be assured that the protector will not permit contaminates to ruin the emulsion.

Choosing the proper size coater. The scoop coater should have an outside dimension of 2.5 larger than your image area. For example, if your image area is 12 you should order a 14 scoop coater. The end caps are recessed at 1/4 per side (1/2 total). In addition, the coating area should extend at least 1 per side (2 total) beyond the image area. Make sure your scoop coater fits within your frame. Purchase extra lengths of extrusion and end caps and utilize them when you need a special coater. The extrusion is easy to modify to the cut lengths required.
