    FOR ALL YOUR
    UV CURING NEEDS!

Since 1979, UV Process Supply has supported printers, coaters, and converters with UV curing systems, measurement tools, safety products, and ink handling supplies for production lines of every size.

UV Process Supply, Inc.

UV Process Supply, Inc. was founded in 1979 to serve the growing UV curing market. At that time, most suppliers focused on UV coatings, inks, or curing equipment alone. We recognized that a successful UV process depends on many supporting products, from safe material handling to accurate measurement and worker protection.

That insight led to five product categories built around the physical demands of UV curing workflows.

Safety Products

Safety Products was the first category, and hand cleaner was the first product. Most waterless hand cleaners are made with mineral spirits, and that solvent used with acrylates can lead to skin problems. We created a waterless hand cleaner that was oil based rather than solvent based.

Next was our skin lotion, which contains aluminum hydroxide able to neutralize acrylic acid based coatings. Gloves were tested with the most popular monomers to ensure proper protection when used with clean up solvents. We do not carry vinyl gloves because they do not provide adequate protection with UV coatings and inks.

Barrier creams add protection around fingernails and under rings, where inks can collect unnoticed. For eye protection, all products are rated on their ability to filter UV light. Even our splash goggles filter UV to provide consistent protection on the production floor.

Ink and Coating Handling

Ink and Coating Handling is our second category and covers two needs in the process. The first is safety. If you can pump the coating, there is less direct contact with material that can cause skin irritation. We specify pumps for UV curing based on field experience. Customers found that piston pumps can seize when friction causes minute polymerization on the interior wall of the pump.

Pumps for UV inks should be double diaphragm or peristaltic types. All wetted parts in our pump line have been soak tested in popular monomers to ensure there is no swelling or shortened pump life. Storage containers must allow oxygen transfer, which helps prevent jelling and curing in the container. Black polyethylene containers are the preferred way to store UV inks and coatings. Metal containers should not be used. To offer a full line of UV appropriate products, we have selected the best items from each supplier for UV curing applications.

We also have access to hundreds of other products from these vendors that may not be listed as best for UV, and we can provide them at competitive pricing.

Curing Controls and Equipment

Curing Controls and Equipment covers measurement, curing systems, and the shop supplies that keep UV lines running. Radiometers, UV intensity labels, and cure test instruments help verify dose and lamp output during production. Temperature monitors, surface tension testers, and coating thickness gauges support quality checks before and after cure.

Our equipment range includes portable and conveyor UV systems, spot curing units, UV LED lamps, and replacement lamps and components. Maintenance and shop supplies include UV filter materials, static control products, solvents, and clean-up tools. Printing supplies cover graphic arts measurement, screen printing, flexo, and offset tools chosen for UV production environments.
